The White Genoa fig is a delicious flavored green skinned fig with pale rose pulp, our favorite for eating fresh. The White Genoa fig tree is well adapted to cooler coastal climates. Modest breba crop, good main crop. The White Genoa fig tree is our best selling fig tree for its ease of growing and consistent production. Growing Considerations for White Genoa Fig

USDA Zones: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11

Uses: Fresh Eating, Canning / Preserves

Harvest Period: Very Late

Low Chill: Yes

Pollination Requirement: Self-Fertile

Years to Bear: 1 year

Recommended Spacing: 8-12 ft.

Mature Size: 12-16 ft.

Pruning: Summer prune to maintain 8 ft.

Water Requierments: 12-15 gallons per week May through Sept.

Shape when Shipped: Whip (no branching)


Shipping Note:  Our fruit trees and berries are delivered to you bareroot during their winter dormancy from January through May depending on USDA zone. Trees are shipped with your invoice and helpful planting directions. There is no minimum quantity required but shipping rate for an individual tree is expensive since UPS/Fed Ex charge a dimensional weight and an additional handling fee to ship a tree. This is one of the most delicious figs imaginable. The skin is pale green and the pulp is deep rose, with a strawberry or raspberry flavor and great sweetness. The tree is vigorous and bears well. We love this fig so much that we are ordering another one. We live in the Bay Area of California.
