Sunshine Blue is one of the most adaptable blueberry varieties in low chill areas. More tolerant of high pH soils than other varieties, this blueberry produces sweet, dime-sized berries that ripen a handful or two at a time July-August. This long harvest makes Sunshine Blue a favorite among home gardeners. Plants are pruned to approximately 12 to 14 inches when shipped and reach 4-6 feet when mature.
