The Golden Noble apple tree was discovered in an old orchard on a country estate in Norfolk in 1820. Handsome golden cooker, one of the very best. Sharp and well flavored, making it ideal for pies. When baked has a creamy texture and needs very little sugar. The Golden Noble apple is a handsome pure yellow fruit with creamy white flesh and excellent texture. Golden Noble apple trees are upright, spreading and moderately vigorous. A special garden tree because of the clear yellow glow of the apples in green foliage and moderate size. Partial tip bearer.
