The Anna apple tree is very low chill (100-200 hours) yellow variety overlaid with red blush and has a sweet, crisp flavor. Keeps two months refrigerated. The Anna apple tree begins bearing fruit extremely young. The Anna apple tree can be grown even on the beaches of southern California. The Anna apple is surprisingly cold hardy, but there are plenty of apples for colder regions to consider. The Anna apple is also good for cooking, too.
