This beautiful Japanese apricot tree is often used as an ornamental, but has the added benefit of interesting fruit. Pink Ume apricot tree is a stunning, single pink blooms lead to a bounty of fresh apricots. The Ume apricot is eaten raw, candied, boiled, preserved in sugar, pickled in salt and dried, or made into a liqueur.
