Poorman Gooseberry is considered by many to be the best tasting, sweetest gooseberry variety. Green berries turn red when ripe. Great all purpose variety, but delicious eaten straight out of hand. Best in locations with limited summer heat above 92 degrees. We are unable to ship gooseberries to ME, NC and SC.
