Welcome to Trees of Antiquity |
|
Welcome! Thanks for visiting our site. The mild late spring and early summer weather has spurred some fantastic new growth in our trees out in the field and we are pleased with the progress. Our first tree count of the season has revealed an abundance of young heirloom trees. It is time to start reserving trees for the upcoming 2010 bareroot shipping season, which will commence in January. Each year, we conduct our tree harvest in late December and ship the trees in their dormant state from January until mid-April (depending on your USDA zone and location). Many of our unusual certified organic apple trees sell out long before we begin shipment, so most folks will reserve trees as early as the summer months to ensure availability. We will be continually maintaining the website throughout the summer to reflect new varieties and updated availability, so be sure to visit often.
Our website contains many features to assist you in finding the appropriate heirloom fruit trees for your area. Start by clicking on Heirloom Trees to your left to see a list of every type of tree/plant we offer. We also suggest viewing the "Helpful Information" box that includes excellent tips to help you with planting our trees, working with limited space, and selecting the appropriate fruit tree for your orchard. Our extensive keyword search will also assist you in finding appropriate trees. Search using keywords such as "Zone 8" or "Self Fertile". You can even search our apples by their suggested use, such as "Cider" to find all of the apple trees that produce great cider. Thank you for your interest in our trees and enjoy the website,
Neil & Danielle
