Named after the Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria, this is said to be the oldest Styrian apple variety. Cream-colored, sweet, and mildly spiced flesh with a fine texture wrapped in green/yellow skin flushed a rusted red. Crown Prince Rudolph apple is a standout among samples of 200+varieties in a Pacific Northwest orchard.
