The Rainier cherry tree is a large, yellow cherry with red blush, very firm yellow-white flesh. Rainier cherry is similar to Napoleon cherry, but resists splitting and tolerates hot summers. As with Napoleon, tends to be less inviting to birds thanks to the light skin. The Rainier sweet cherry ripens just before Bing.
