Black  mulberries originated in the mountains of Mesopotamia and Persia. They are found  throughout Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, India, Pakistan, Syria, and Turkey today.  The Black Mulberry bush  has black juicy berries with tasty blackberry-like flavor. Small fruit about the size of blackberry, dark purple almost black with richly flavored flesh. Often planted to attract birds away from cherries. Self-fertile.

There is no minimum quantity required but shipping rate for an individual tree is expensive since UPS/Fed Ex charge a dimensional weight and an additional handling fee to ship a tree.
