Peters Honey Fig is very sweet fig with dark amber flesh and beautiful, shiny greenish-yellow skin. High quality fig that is superb for fresh eating; should be good for drying and canning. Peters Honey Fig was originally from Sicily, brought by Peter Dana of Portland, OR. Good fig for more humid regions of the country. Needs heat to ripen. Figs are 2-3 feet in height when shipped.

Mature Size: 12-16 ft.

Pruning: Summer prune to maintain 8 ft.

Water Requierments: 12-15 gallons per week May through Sept.

Shape when Shipped: Whip (no branching)

There is no minimum quantity required but shipping rate for an individual tree is expensive since UPS/Fed Ex charge a dimensional weight and an additional handling fee to ship a tree.
