The GA-866 jujube is an outstanding Jujube with sweet apple flavor and attractive shiny leaves. GA-866 jujube is a large elongated fruit (about 1 1/2 inches in length) is noteworthy for its remarkably high sugar content. When candied and dried, the fruit resembles dates. Jujubes do well in hot interior regions and are very drought tolerant.
