The only almond suitable for the Pacific Northwest, this variety is cold hardy to USDA zone 5. It blooms late for an almond, escaping potentially damaging late spring frosts. A heavy bearer, produces large nuts about 2-3 years after planting. Good variety for toasted almonds. Also a treasured ornamental tree with dense green foliage and a profusion of pink flowers in the spring. Requires 600-800 hours of chilling. Self-fruitful.

USDA Zone: 5,6,7,8,9

Conventionally Grown
