The Fuyu persimmon is shiny red-orange large flattened fruit with light orange, firm, crunchy, non- astringent sweet flesh. Unless planted with another variety the fruit is seedless because there are no male flowers. Fuyu persimmon can be peeled and eaten like an apple. Better for cool summer climates than Hachiya.
