FUYU (Jiro)


Shiny red-orange large flattened fruit with light orange, firm, crunchy, non- astringent sweet flesh. Unless planted with another variety the fruit is seedless because there are no male flowers. Can be peeled and eaten like an apple. Better for cool summer climates than Hachiya.

Conventionally Grown

Trees are shipped bareroot during their winter dormancy from January through mid-April depending on USDA zone.
